Do they ever wonder?
Do they know the price we’ve paid?
Rocks they crawl from under
Are here to stay
All the good intentions
Never could explain the mess we’ve made
Things too dark to mention
Will never fade
I could make excuses I could walk away
But I know what the truth is it’s not too late
One more time give me one more day
One more word that I have to say
One more cause my heart still aches
One more chance to take
All the words were spoken
All the ammunition dry
Now that all our dreams are broken
I wonder why
If I turned my back now if I never tried
I could never learn how to close my eyes
One more time give me one more day
One more word that I have to say
One more cause my heart still aches
One more chance to take
I could make excuses I could walk away
But I know what the truth is it’s not too late
One more time give me one more day
One more word that I have to say
One more cause my heart still aches
One more chance to take
Do they know the price we’ve paid?

The sound of DownTown Mystic is "vintage yet modern". What started as a side project would turn into a full time on-going band that has yielded 2 full cds...and it would be US Radio that would put DownTown Mystic on the map.
Veteran tastemaker, Jed The Fish, would play the track "Lost & Found" off of an Industry compilation cd as his "Catch of The Day" on "World Famous" KROQ in LA, one of the most influential modern rock stations. This would lead to some national airplay. When the "Mayor of The Sunset Strip", legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer, played another track, "Brian Jones", it was time to go back into the studio and finish recording enough tracks for a full-length album.
The result would be the "Rock'nRoll 4 The Soul" cd. The track "One More Chance" would be put on another Industry sampler and once again lightning would strike when it was heard by WBCG PD, G. Michael Keating, who immediately added it to his playlist...quite rare by today's standards! This led to radio play at commercial & non commercial AAA, as well as College and Internet Radio.
DownTown Mystic is joined by a host of talented musicians on "Rock'nRoll 4 The Soul", including one of the great rhythm sections in the history of American Rock'n'Roll--Garry Tallent & Max Weinberg of the E Street Band.
